NAME: Mei Hadouken

TRANSLATION: Dark Surge Fist

DESCRIPTION: Kyone will reel back an arm a bit and charge up her ki, then shoot it out in a fast surge blast.  Despite the small delay for it to come out, the Mei Hadouken is lightning fast and surprisingly powerful.  It’s also quite large, around the size of one of Sakura’s full charged Hadoukens, so it makes it difficult for her opponent to get away from it.

DESCRIPTION: Kyone will start this move off with a strong curse word while giving out a hard blow to the head.  If this connects, Kyone’s body will turn black and she’ll start to really hammer her opponent with hard blows with alternating fists, ending with a upwards spin kick and huge haymaker that’s almost like Kyo’s 182 Shiki.  The Saiki is a very fast and powerful attack but it suffers with low range.

DESCRIPTION: Kyone will channel her ki into the floor and then lift her arm up, summoning huge Hadouken-like blasts from the floor one after the other in a shockwave-like manner away from her.  All together there are 7 Hadoukens, and this move is ideal for anti-air purposes.  Each blast is powerful, almost reaching that of Hyper material, so if each one connects... she’s most likely winning the fight.

DESCRIPTION: Kyone suddenly comes out of her fighting stance and looks at the ground, her face covered by her hair.  She’ll then put her hands behind her back and start to apologize for odd reasons... and start to slowly walk forward.  If her opponent is close to her at any time that she’s doing this, everything will turn white and her opponent will grow stunned.  Kyone will then turn her back to her opponent and all of a sudden shadow images of her, all of different colors, will start to viciously attack her opponent from all areas.  After a countless barrage, a black Kyone will merge with the normal Kyone, and she’ll quickly turn around and grab her opponent by the throat, her face heavy with murderous intent.  Then the surroundings will go black and a sick slash noise rings through the air.... and the last thing anyone knows, Kyone is laughing like a banshee out of hell...

Shuusei no Akutenshi has HORRIBLE start up but compensates for it being the most powerful move in the story, even more powerful than any of Raven’s attacks, a foresight by the Shadowloo leader to say the least.  However, Kyone has to be next to her opponent to land this devastating attack.

NAME: Bakuhatsuryuken

TRANSLATION: Eruption Dragon Fist

DESCRIPTION: Kyone will turn around while charging up her ki, then whisk forward to give a strong punch to the stomach.  If it connects, she’ll bury the fist into her opponent’s gut, stunning them while she taunts them.  As she talks, her opponent starts to catch fire... and then she’ll throw her arm upwards in a vicious uppercut, yelling as she does so, and roof her opponent, her ki making an image of a dragon as she finishes.  The Bakuhatsuryuken has a slight delay but is still immensely powerful for someone of her stature.  Like a majority of her moves, it has limited range, however.

DESCRIPTION: From the air, Kyone spreads her sword out in a strike that creates a wide volley of flames to shoot out at her opponent.  The Haitsuchi is a pretty decent air projectile, however it comes out a little slow, so it won’t combo into air chains.

DESCRIPTION: Kyone starts off this super by ducking down a little, then she’ll launch herself upwards with a powerful slash before coming back down hard with a huge attack, her sword creating a huge flaming comet to come crashing down onto her opponent.  Like most of her attacks, the Insei is very powerful and could be classified for a Hyper.  The move is very fast on execution and the last attack is an overhead, so if the first misses, her opponent will have to block high for the next one.

DESCRIPTION: Kyone signals this attack by dropping her sword-wielding hand towards her side and bring her free hand up to her head, striking a pose.  After a slight pause, her body will catch on fire and she’ll attempt a fast overhead slash.  If this misses/blocked, she’ll pause for a second as the flames vanish and she’ll return to her normal stance (warranting counter attacks).  If it connects, she’ll continue the assault with a load of fast slashes, ending with two hard ones, and finishing with a jumping multi-hit spin-slash.  Muhon has a bit of a start-up in which Kyone isn’t invincible to anything until the flames burst.  Then she’ll have invincibility to throws and normal attacks.  Projectiles can hit her before she strikes.

DESCRIPTION: Kyone turns her back to her opponent and drags her sword along the ground as she does so, leaving a small flame trail in front of her.  If her opponent is within the area of that mark, everything will go black and a massive rigid vertical flame strike will disrupt the darkness.  Kyone will then hold the pose, her flame sword up after her attack and her opponent frozen, then he/she will get blow away by a blazing explosion that could split them in half.  The Nakitama can be classified as a throw move, since her opponent must be close in order for it to work, plus it is unblockable.  The move does a load of damage, enough to devastate her opponents.

HISTORY

Kyone Kasugano is the younger sister of two in a branch of the Kasugano family.  Most specifically, she and her sister, Ayane, are the cousins of the current World Warrior champion, Sakura.  Beforehand, when the three of them were younger, Sakura normally wouldn’t be able to visit regualarly, but when they were together, the three were inseperable.  Due to the fact that Sakura’s brother and Sakura herself didn’t really connect, Sakura just loved her visits with her cousins, since she could clearly relate and have fun.  As they got older, Sakura shared her wishes to learn martial arts from her idol at the time, Ryu, with them.  As Sakura went onto her famous adventures, Kyone longed for the same adventure while Ayane simply let it pass her by, not the one to show a lot of interest in fighting.

At her current age of 20, Kyone started her first year of college; the same one her sister went to, and for a while of adapting to the life on campus, things seemed quite alright... until one night when she was studying for her mid-term exams.  During her cram session, the door blew open, and before Kyone could even think that her roommate was coming in, she was ambushed by several people in total black.  Before she knew it, she found herself unconcious...

Several weeks later, she and her sister were seen roaming the streets of Tokyo, looking for their cousin.  Little do they remember of the organization they were captured in... the leader enhancing their body with abnormal strength and combat skills... and little do they remember their escape from there...  Still, one thing remains clear...  A woman’s voice running repeatedly in their subconscious...

PERSONALITY

Kyone is the mischievous of the Kasugano sisters, always looking for trouble to stir herself in.  She just loves fighting, knowing that this is the same vigor she longed for when her cousin Sakura was doing it in their teenage years.  She’s an explosive that’s very quick to set off, merely by looking at her the wrong way.  People normally take heed in messing with her, since, rumor has it that one night, when she and her sister were having a run-in with the infamous rival gang of the Mizuryu (Water Dragon), the Shirubaafokkusu (Silver Fox), they two performed separate moves that instantly murdered them in one strike...
