Command Moves

Style Switch – Like fighters like Mei-Ling, Gen, and Nanase, May Lee can switch fighting styles, but unlike others, where they merely just change their attacks and such, May Lee changes personalities.  She has two, normal and hero, as signified by her appearance.  In hero mode, her expression is a lot braver and she exposes her cape that she has on her back, and her attacks show that side of her off.  In normal mode, she uses her loose Tae Kwon Do stance and attacks.

Special Moves - Normal

Super Arts - Normal

Phoenix Flattener – May Lee’s version of Kim’s Hou’ou Kyaku, she’ll spring forward fairly fast in order to get close to her opponent.  If she succeeds, she’ll go into a small barrage of attacks, both punches and kicks, ending with a high kick to the head.  The Phoenix Flattener isn’t as fast or as long-ranged as the Hou’ou Kyaku, and it even does less damage.  Anyone on their guard will not be falling for this attack no time soon.

Comet Crunch Kick – May Lee flips forward a small distance for an overhead kick.  If it connects, she’ll stun her opponent with the initial kick, leaving her leg on her opponent’s head.  She’ll then run it across his or her cheek and kick across the chest, then give a hard kick to the stomach to blow them away.  The Comet Crunch Kick has small range compared to the Phoenix Flattener, but it does more damage.  Also, since the first kick is an overhead, it’ll connect more times than none.

Hyper Art – Normal

Heroine Rave: Version 1 – May Lee gives a high kick to the chin to start off this hyper attack.  If it connects, May Lee will jump after them for two attacks, the last one spiking her opponent towards the ground.  However, before they can hit the ground she warps down below (now in Hero mode) and elbows them again into the air.  As they fall to the ground, May Lee jumps up with a silver ball of ki energy in her hands, and the pelts her grounded foe with lightning fast blasts, counting up to 50, before she lands and spins furiously, striking a pose.  After about a second, a sudden explosion blows her opponent away and May Lee will return to her fighting stance.  This move has about the same range as Kim’s Hou’ou Hiten Kyaku, which means that her opponent will have to be right next to her for this to connect.  However, the first kick is lightning fast, so if her opponent is even the slightest off guard, they’ll fall victim to this attack.  After the move connects, May Lee will end in Hero mode.

Special Moves – Hero

Super Arts – Hero

May Lee: Dynamic! – An air super for May Lee, May will signal this by launching herself forward with her knee out and if she connects, she’ll go into a floating barrage of attacks before landing, where she’ll continue the assault and end with a strong elbow, knocking down.  This super art is fairly quick, just a little more than her Phoenix Flattener, but this move isn’t an overhead.  In fact, May Lee: Dynamic will most likely miss a ducking opponent.  Also, if it’s blocked, her opponent has all day to counter-attack before she recovers.  Its somewhat of a risky maneuver, but its worth it for the power behind it.

May Lee: The End: - May Lee will try her May Lee: Chop! Attack, and if it connects, she’ll stun her opponent with the attack, giving her time to jump back and leap into the air with a piercing kick, making her land behind her opponent.  She’ll then stand strong and strike a heroic pose, then a sudden explosion will blow her opponent away.  For a super art, May Lee: The End is a very powerful one; one of the more powerful attacks on the circuit, and its feared due to the fact that it comes out even faster than the normal May Lee: Chop!  If any of her other supers are lacking, this makes up for it.

Hyper Art - Hero

Heroine’s Rave: Version 2 – May Lee will lightly bring a knee out to try to wrap her leg around her opponent’s waist (no one knew she was this flexible...), and if she succeeds, she’ll spin and launch her opponent up into the air.  She’ll then jump up after them and start to come with all directions with flashy kicks, disappearing every time she connects, until her opponent reaches his or her peak, where they’ll float in the air.  May Lee will then reappear on the ground, strike a pose once again, and literally lightning strikes her opponent back down to earth.  Definitely one of the flashiest attacks on the circuit, May Lee’s second Heroine Rave does exactly the same amount of damage as the first, and it has the same range.  This one is a throw, so it’ll catch blocking opponents.  Still, the move is a little easy to avoid... if it is anticipated.

HISTORY

PERSONALITY

May Lee can be best described as one word.  Heroine.  It is painfully obvious.  May Lee shows off the vibes of your everyday superheroine out to fight crime and any other sort of evil almost 24/7.  She’s extremely brave (especially when in hero mode) and, almost in a way, that’s all you really hear from her... when evil is in the air.  When in times of peace, even then it’s rare for you to see her taking a break to go on and be a “normal” girl.  She’s a heroine first and a follower of Master Kim second, so if she’s not fighting evil, you can most likely bet on her training and getting ready to exercise justice on the next threat.  Although she doesn’t really let it out at all, at times May Lee does appreciate a little cooldown... but she simply adores the feeling of knowing that another evildoer’s fallen to her kicks of justice.

“Wherever there’s evil, you can count on May Lee, servant of justice, to be there to beat it to a pulp!”
