Throws
Phoenix Paradise - Mitsumi grabs her opponent and then gives
a quick combo with a few punches, the last one hitting her opponent into the air. This can be followed up with
an air combo.
Phoenix Fall - Mitsumi twirls while grabbing her opponent's
arm then attacks with a hard kick to the chin, knocking her opponent back to the ground. Mitsumi will then jump up and
land on her opponent's stomach with a hard stomp with both feet before jumping off.

Special Moves
Momonga (Flying Squirrel) – Mitsumi takes off in a long hop towards her opponent. Upon landing, she’ll
either come with a sweep kick, a spinning backhand blow, or a spinning high kick to the chin. Each version knocks her opponent
down in some way, shape, and form and the latter attack can be followed up with an attack.
Shutsuga Ki (Sprouting Tree)
- A special grapple move. Mitsumi grabs her opponent, then delivers a few fast punches to the stomach, then a huge kung-fu
kick, hitting her opponent upwards in the air.
Femikketsu Demizu (Phoenix Flood) - Mitsumi throws herself forward
with her feet out in front of her. When she gets close, she'll repeatedly kick out rapidly about 7 times and then kick them
away.
Femikketsu Niage (Phoenix Landing) - Mitsumi jumps up and stomps on her opponent's head with both feet, then
flips, does it again with her left foot, then quickly her right, flips again behind her opponent and gives a violent kick
to the back.
Ryuujin Hirameki (Dragon God Flash) – A move that she
picked up from her boyfriend, Wangtang, Mitsumi charges her vigor into her hands and fires out either a single or a pair of
yellow energy streaks at her opponent with semi-homing capability.
Super Arts
Uzumakimoyou (Spiral Nebula) – Mitsumi starts this super by bracing herself, then lets loose a long stationary
spinning kick while the winds pick up around her. This move also creates a vacuum that sucks in her opponents from about anywhere
from the area; the closer the person is, the more powerful the suction. The razor sharp winds itself cause damage on their
own.
Ketatamashii Tsuki/Shainingu Tsuki (Piercing Moon/Shining Moon) - These two moves are sort of linked... First she stuns
her opponent with a blow to the head to by her some time to charge her fist with her vigor to plow it into her opponent's
stomach (Ketatamashii Tsuki). Then, she lets the blast charge carry her opponent away in pain (Shainingu Tsuki).
Ryuujin Bakudan (Dragon God Bomb) – Mitsumi hold two
fingers out in front of her face to signify this super art. After a few moments,
she’ll form a relatively large ball of yellow energy on her fingertips. She’ll
then shot it forward towards her opponent, which will explode and tear at her opponent’s body upon contact.
Hyper Arts
Suukou Ryuujin Bakudan (Supreme Dragon God Bomb) – The much, MUCH bigger version of her Super Art, Mitsumi signals
this move, directly modeled from her boyfriend’s attack, by collecting all her energy above her head with both hands,
forming a massive Dragon Bomb the size of a good city block (Dragon Ball Z fans untie... lol).
The charge time is much larger than her normal move, After getting it to its full size, Mitsumi will launch this bomb
right at her opponent, where it literally explodes like a nuke upon contact. This
move is impossible to guard against and Mitsumi develops a bit of a ‘super armor’ to become invincible to normal
attacks and certain specials. However, once the move is done, it drains a massive
amount of Mitsumi’s energy, so this is her last resort attack.
Tennoikkaku (Path to Heaven) – Mitsumi signifies this hyper combo by throwing her arms to her sides (if you seen
Kim Kaphawn’s Hou’ou Kyaku, it looks similar to that). She’ll then rush towards her opponent. Once she’s
close and her opponent isn’t defending she’ll start doing a short link combo with her kicks and then a long Femikketsu
Demizu, and then drops to the ground delivering a kick to the chin, roofing her opponent into the air. Mitsumi then jumps
into the air, and finishes the attack by kicking through her opponent at a downward angle, the action freezing as Mitsumi
chants “Earth. Space. HEAVEN!” and then everything runs at normal time, both fighters on the ground, Mitsumi on
her feet and her opponent in pain. Massive pain.
Kurai Fenikketsu no Gekido (Rage of the Dark Phoenix) –
Mitsumi taps into her dark energy powers and channels its power into her attacks. For
a extended period of time, Mitsumi’s attack power increases dramatically and every move she does burns her opponent. She is able to use super attacks and even other hyper moves as well at the cost of
shortening her time in this special mode. She must be careful, however. If she uses it too long, the Dark Phoenix will feed off her ki energy and she won’t
be able to control the attack. If she holds it too long, she’ll go berserk...
and there’s no telling what could happen when this happens...
WINQUOTES
- Mountain girl, my butt! I still got the skills to stomp you any day of
the week!
- Wow... Things are sure more serious in the world today... Why doesn’t everyone lighten up for a change?
- I wonder what Wangtang is doing right now...
- What’s that sound....? Did I crush your bones? I’m sorry! I guess I don’t know my own strength!
- Perhaps if you had a better fighting style you’d fare better... NAH! You’re just hopeless!
- The cry of a true dragon cannot be stopped, no matter who opposes it! And
adding the power of the phoenix to that is a combination that just can’t be beat!
HISTORY
Mitsumi was born in a golden mountain town by the name of Tong-An, hidden to most people in northern China. Growing up, Mitsumi was quickly labeled by her peers as a tomboy, not because she looked like a boy, but
because she was into athletics and overall working her body, whereas girls in Tong-An mostly worried about household tasks
like cooking, cleaning, and the like. Because of this, she never really fitted
in at all and it discouraged her. However, her parents kept her spirits up, signing
her up to take up martial arts with the old master of the village. Mitsumi was
happy to accept that, not exactly because she was excited about learning martial arts.
Sure, that was good in all for her, but mainly it was because the boy that was also there to learn was HOT. He went by the name of Wangtang, and those big, black eyes... that shining black hair... that special look
he always gave her... that naïve complex he had... How couldn’t Mitsumi
have a crush on him? And why wouldn’t she miss the opportunity to be side
by side with him?
As the two trained, Mitsumi wasn’t shy at all at showing Wangtang about her feelings. She’d do anything to get his attention. She’d
trip while performing a move on purpose just so that she’d tumble on top of him and that she’d be a heap right
long with him. She’d ask for help with a posture that she could definitely
get herself, just so that Wangtang could come over and show her how. She had
a million tricks up her sleeve... and Wangtang fell for each and every one of them.
It wasn’t long until he caught on and willingly agreed to be boyfriend and girlfriend with Mitsumi.
During all this, when Mitsumi was around 14, she and Wangtang got permission to help maintain the Blue Gale restaurant
that the master held. It was there that Mitsumi was steadily accepted among the
villagers, gleefully selling hot and fresh food to the people who came in. To
Mitsumi, this was paradise, and nothing could break that.
One day, Wangtang was sent on by the master of the village to find a certain valuable stone in conjunction to continuing
his training (sounds familiar, doesn’t it, Capcom fans?). Mitsumi desperately
wanted to join him, but master was against it, saying she wasn’t ready to go off into the world to find the stone. Although she pouted about it, Mitsumi made it her business to train harder and perfect
the moves that Wangtang used, without any help from any “mystical” stones.
Wangtang came and went twice on his search, and it wasn’t until the second time that he came back successful
with three differently colored stones. These stones powered him up considerably
yet, despite that, Mitsumi didn’t care much. All she cared about was that
Wangtang was back.
A few months later, the master allowed both Wangtang and Mitsumi to leave the village in order to seek opponents to
battle. Along their journey, they crossed paths with Yun and Yang Lee, who were
on their way to participate in the Turn of the Century tournament. Since entry
was up to 4 fighters per team, the two duos were more than happy to join up. The
tournament was rather tough, and they barely made it to the final battles. However,
before their first battle, Mitsumi felt herself grow different. She could feel
hot rushes through her body, and her ki felt so much... different... Before the
battle could start, Mitsumi went berserk, releasing a strange dark power that was hell bent on destroying everything. The event was unforeseen, and it took quite a bit of effort for numerous other fighters
to calm her down. Mitsumi’s team opted to bail out of the finals instead
of fighting without her.
After a few weeks of recovery back at Tong-An, Mitsumi was confronted by a strange woman by the name of Rose, who offered
her services to help her control her dark power. Mitsumi hastily agreed and left
a note for Wangtang letting him know that she left to get her act together. Mitsumi
found herself in Paris, where she met the other boarders at the mansion and got the training she needed to calm the beast
within her, which she named “Rage of the Dark Phoenix” Despite the
fact that she was done training, Mitsumi stayed back as a counselor at the mansion to help the others with their problems. One day, Rose arrived from scouting with a new girl by the name of Kaoru Miadama and
despite the fact that everyone else gave Kaoru the evil eye, Mitsumi made it her business to help the young girl into her
new home. She grew a liking in training Kaoru, despite the fact that she was
only around for a while until she ran away. Mitsumi hoped that she’d be
able to see her again.
A few months later, Mitsumi was given an invitation to the Street Fighter 4 tournament.
To prepare for it, she traveled back to Tong-An and persuaded her boyfriend to come along, just incase the phoenix
returned to haunt her. Shortly after arriving in Tokyo, Mitsumi reunited with Kaoru, who
was staying with two other Street Fighters in their home. Although her stay at
the tournament was short, Mitsumi took the opportunity to ask Wangtang for a chance for a look at marriage. Wangtang agreed, but before things could get serious, things complicated.
It got to the point where they both agreed to go their separate ways for a while to really think it over. Wangtang left Tong-An while Mitsumi stayed, daydreaming of the day that Wangtang would return to sweep
her off her feet once again and into bliss.
Four years passed. One day, Mitsumi got wind that Rose was missing from
the mansion back at Paris. As she prepared to head back to Europe to investigate, Mitsumi was unexpectedly attacked by strange
people in military uniforms. Unable to ward them off forever, she was glad to
find out that Kaoru and Yui heard her distress mental call and came to help. Taking
all these events into consideration, Mitsumi joins Kaoru and Yui to get to the bottom of her ambush and Rose’s disappearance.
PERSONALITY
Mitsumi can be best summed up as bright and cheerful. She can almost be
put in the classification of a jokester, always playing little pranks on people around her.
It is very rare for Mitsumi to take anything seriously, so very often she gets on the wrong page with other people
(most specifically, Kaoru). However, she knows when to lay off if the person’s
in a bad mood. In battle, Mitsumi carries over most of her traits, always seeking
to seize an opportunity to show off her fighting skills against her opponent in contrast to actually trying to knock the guy/girl
out. This little trait can really work against her if she’s not careful
and its very hard for Mitsumi to work her way back from a losing battle. Keeping
that in mind, Mitsumi tries to keep the battle at her pace and her pace alone, and if her opponent can’t keep up, then
Mitsumi’s going to show off for sure.
However, no matter what she’s going, Mitsumi keeps her boyfriend, Wangtang in her mind. She just knows that she’ll meet him again, and when she does, she’s not going to let him get
away from her. Ever again.
